One gloomy morning, as I was mopping the kitchen floor at 6 a.m., I had a revelation
I had noticed for several days that water was leaking from one of the washing machines in the kitchen. Since it was just a small drip, I hadn’t bothered to investigate the cause. It didn’t seem worth worrying about. And now, I was paying the price for that tiny lapse in judgment. Water was everywhere, the dog was traipsing in and out with muddy paws, and I was running out of time before taking the kids to school… you can picture the scene. I kept repeating to myself, ‘If only I had done something when I first noticed that little leak!’—until suddenly, I realized something.

These symptoms can be avoided by understanding the significance of how our mind and bodyoperate as one indivisible whole – ourselves. Our ideas and beliefs about ourselves and the world are interwoven in the way we go about our lives, the way we move and think, the decisions we make and our reactions to situations.
